Privacy Policy for Trigonom Apps and Services

This Privacy Policy explains how Trigonom sh.p.k. (“Trigonom,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, stores and protects information through our mobile applications, website and related support services.

Trigonom develops educational applications for children. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children and families and to collecting only the information needed to operate and improve our services.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Mobile applications published by Trigonom that link to this policy;
  • The Trigonom website at https://trigonom.al/;
  • App support, privacy-request and contact forms provided through our website; and
  • Related services operated by Trigonom.

Some Apps provide different features and therefore process different information. App-specific practices are explained below.

2. Apps That Do Not Require a Profile

Most Trigonom Apps do not require users to create an account, sign in or create an online child profile.

These Apps do not ask the child to provide an email address or other contact information. Any purchases or subscriptions are processed through the applicable app store.

Certain Google Play versions may display advertisements through Google AdMob, as explained in the Advertising section of this policy.

3. Montessori Learning Activities and Preschool Learning Games

Montessori Learning Activities and Preschool Learning Games allow a parent or guardian to create an optional child profile and monitor the child’s learning progress.

A parent or guardian may choose to provide:

  • The child’s first name;
  • The child’s age in years; and
  • The parent or guardian’s email address.

Providing this information is optional.

Trigonom creates a randomly generated profile identifier to connect the profile with its learning records. We do not use a device identifier or advertising identifier to connect the child’s learning activities with the profile.

These Apps may store:

  • Activities and games completed by the child;
  • Learning progress;
  • The date and time an activity was completed; and
  • Information necessary to maintain and display the child’s progress.

The parent’s email address, child’s first name and age, random profile identifier, learning progress and activity timestamps are stored together in the profile record.

This information is used only to:

  • Create and personalize the optional child profile;
  • Save and display learning progress;
  • Allow the child to continue completed or ongoing activities;
  • Provide progress information to the parent or guardian;
  • Maintain app functionality; and
  • Respond to privacy or support requests.

Trigonom does not use child profile or learning-progress information for advertising, behavioral profiling, cross-app tracking or data brokerage.

4. Parental Involvement

Our Apps are designed for young children and are intended to be used with the involvement of a parent, guardian or educator.

Trigonom does not ask children to create accounts or provide their own contact information. The optional profile features in Montessori Learning Activities and Preschool Learning Games are intended to be completed by a parent or guardian.

A parent or guardian should not provide a child’s profile information unless they are authorized to do so and agree to the processing described in this Privacy Policy.

Parents and guardians may request access to, correction of or deletion of their child’s profile and learning information at any time.

5. Information Collected Automatically by the Apps

Trigonom does not currently use Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Crashlytics or another third-party analytics SDK inside its mobile Apps.

Montessori Learning Activities and Preschool Learning Games transmit the profile identifier, completed activities, learning progress and related timestamps to Trigonom’s server when necessary to provide the progress feature.

Trigonom does not intentionally save IP addresses in its child-profile or learning-progress database.

However, when an App communicates with our server, our hosting provider may temporarily process information such as:

  • IP address;
  • Date and time of the server request;
  • Requested URL or endpoint;
  • General browser, operating-system or device information; and
  • Error or security information.

This information may appear in standard server logs and may be used for service operation, security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.

6. Advertising in Google Play Versions

Certain versions of our Apps distributed through Google Play display advertisements through Google AdMob.

Where an App is directed to children, advertising requests are intended to be configured for child-directed treatment. Trigonom does not use advertising identifiers for its own profiling or cross-app tracking.

Google AdMob may process technical information necessary to request, deliver, limit and measure advertisements. Depending on Google’s services and configuration, this may include IP addresses, device or app information and interactions with advertisements.

Trigonom does not use child profile information, including the child’s name, age, learning progress or the parent’s email address, to select advertisements.

Information processed by Google is subject to Google’s own privacy policies and advertising requirements. More information is available at:

The presence of advertisements is also disclosed on the applicable Google Play store listing.

7. Purchases and Subscriptions

Our Apps may offer in-app purchases, subscriptions or full-access upgrades.

Payments are processed by the store through which the transaction is made, including, where applicable:

  • Apple App Store;
  • Google Play;
  • Huawei AppGallery; and
  • Amazon Appstore.

Trigonom does not receive or store complete payment-card or bank-account information.

The applicable store may provide the App with limited purchase or subscription status information necessary to confirm a purchase, restore access or unlock purchased content.

Purchases, billing, cancellations and refunds are governed by the policies and account settings of the applicable app store.

Deleting app-profile information through Trigonom does not automatically cancel a subscription or reverse an app-store purchase.

8. Communications and Support Requests

If a parent, guardian or other user contacts us, submits a support form or sends a privacy request, we may receive:

  • Name;
  • Email address;
  • App name;
  • Child profile name;
  • Profile reference identifier;
  • Information about the device or app;
  • Description of the request or issue; and
  • Other information voluntarily included in the message.

We use this information to respond to the request, provide support, verify the requester’s authority and maintain records of the request.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card information, app-store passwords or other unnecessary sensitive information.

9. App Data and Privacy Requests

A parent or legal guardian may request:

  • Access to information associated with a child profile;
  • Correction of inaccurate profile information; or
  • Deletion of a child profile and its learning information.

Requests can be submitted through:

We may contact the requester using the email address provided to verify that they are the parent, legal guardian or authorized adult associated with the profile.

After a deletion request is verified and the correct profile is identified, deletion may include:

  • Parent or guardian email address;
  • Child’s first name and age;
  • Random profile identifier;
  • Completed activities and games;
  • Learning progress; and
  • Activity timestamps.

Deletion is permanent and saved learning progress cannot be restored.

Limited information may temporarily remain in backups, security logs or records that we are legally required to retain. Such information will not be used for advertising or unrelated purposes.

10. How We Share Information

Trigonom does not sell or rent personal information.

We may provide limited information to service providers only where necessary to operate our Apps and services. These providers include:

HostGator

HostGator provides website, database, server and email-hosting services. Profile information and learning progress for Montessori Learning Activities and Preschool Learning Games are stored on HostGator infrastructure located in the United States.

Google AdMob

Google AdMob delivers advertisements in certain Google Play versions of our Apps and may process technical advertising information as described in the Advertising section.

App-store providers

Apple, Google, Huawei and Amazon process purchases, subscriptions, downloads and related store services under their respective privacy policies.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law or a valid legal request;
  • Protect the rights, security or property of Trigonom or others;
  • Investigate fraud, abuse or security incidents; or
  • Enforce applicable agreements and policies.

We do not share child profile information with third parties for behavioral advertising or marketing.

11. International Data Processing

Trigonom is based in Prishtina, Kosovo. Our hosting provider processes and stores certain information on servers located in the United States.

This means information provided through the Apps or related support services may be processed outside the user’s country of residence. Where required, we take reasonable steps to handle such information in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.

12. Data Retention

Trigonom retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested App feature, maintain learning progress, respond to support or privacy requests, meet legal obligations and protect the security of our services.

Child profile and learning-progress information is retained while it is needed to provide the optional profile and progress features or until a verified deletion request is completed.

Support and privacy-request correspondence may be retained for a reasonable period to document the request, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations.

Technical server logs and backups may be retained according to the normal operational, security and backup schedules of our hosting provider.

We will update this section if we adopt a specific automatic inactivity-based deletion period.

13. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse or disclosure.

Access to stored profile and learning information is limited to authorized persons and systems that need it to operate or support the applicable service.

No electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Website Analytics and Cookies

The Trigonom website may use cookies and Google Analytics through Google Site Kit to understand general website usage, maintain website performance and improve our content.

Website analytics are separate from the mobile Apps. Trigonom does not currently include Google Analytics inside its mobile Apps.

Google Analytics may process information such as:

  • IP address;
  • General device and browser information;
  • Pages visited;
  • Approximate location derived from an IP address;
  • Referring website; and
  • Dates, times and general interaction information.

Where required by applicable law, non-essential analytics cookies should be used only after the visitor provides consent.

15. External Links and Social Networks

Our website or Apps may contain links to app stores, social networks or other external services.

Interaction with an external service is voluntary and is governed by that service’s own terms and privacy policy. Trigonom is not responsible for the privacy practices of websites or services we do not operate.

16. Privacy Rights

Depending on where the user lives, a parent, guardian or other individual may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal information;
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of information;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • Object to or request restriction of certain processing;
  • Request a portable copy of information where applicable; and
  • Submit a complaint to an applicable data-protection authority.

These rights may be subject to legal limitations and verification requirements.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our Apps, services, providers or legal obligations change.

The revised version will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we process child profile information, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or legally required.
